Clean and Care Instructions
Cleaning and Care Instructions:
After purchasing DMI’s brass products please take care of before mentioned tips for long lasting surface finish. If you are using for daily purpose, We have got step by step guide to cleaning brass using only two natural ingredients you probably already have in kitchen.- ½ a lemon
- A teaspoon or so of baking soda
- A small bowl to mix your paste
Steps :
1. Squeeze half a lemon into your bowl. 2. Add your baking soda it will fizz a little but settle down when you mix it. 3. Stir the baking soda and lemon mix until it forms a delicious smelling paste. 4. Use a soft cloth and apply the paste. Gently work it into the brass. I got the best results when I rubbed the paste gently in one direction. 5. Rinse off the paste and dry. Reapply and repeat the process as and where necessary. 6. When you are done, give the brass a really through rinse. Make sure there is no paste left over and then dry it with the clean dry towel.
Storage Process
Brass will automatically start to tarnish if exposed to oxygen. The only way to prevent polished brass from
tarnishing is to coat it with a layer of clear sealer that will prevent air from reaching the brass itself. Many brass surfaces come with this finish originally, but it can wear down over time. Refresh the coating every few years to keep the brass shiny and like-new without frequent polishing.
